Mª Rosa Vicente-Merino
Mª Rosa Vicente-Merino (MA)
comes from Spain, where she graduated in Political and
Administration Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She
completed her MA in the Politics of Democracy at Royal Holloway
University of London.
She is a research assistant in the project "The Ethics of Conduct: Impact
of New Media on Parliamentary Behaviour in Europe" in the
Department of Politics and International Studies, University of
Hull, where she has also assisted Dr Cristina Leston-Bandeira with
some of her teaching on Research Methods in Social Sciences.
She is currently a first year PhD candidate at the Dept. of
Politics and International Studies in the University of Hull (fully
funded with a University of Hull scholarship). Her thesis aims to
understand the different opportunities available for citizen
participation through the Internet, in particular, via the websites
from European institutional and non-institutional political
actors.
