School of Arts

School of Arts

Traditional and contemporary arts come together in our vibrant School of Arts, from across the disciplines of English, Drama, Music, Film and Digital Media. The School of Arts is part of the Faculty of Arts, Cultures and Education.

The School of Arts is a vibrant hub for learning, teaching, research and the creation of artistic outputs - with an exciting range of performance and production opportunities for students, staff and high-profile visiting artists. In a truly collaborative environment, our students learn with and from those who influence their fields of study and research, as well as continuing to perform and practise their craft on a global stage.

A jewel in the crown of the School is the multi-million pound development, Middleton Hall - a world-class arts venue incorporating a 400-seat concert hall, industry standard recording and rehearsal spaces, and much more.
