eduroam Eduroam

The wireless network eduroam is available throughout the Hull and Scarborough campuses. You can use your device wherever you are, whether you are making notes in a lecture theatre or enjoying the sunshine outside the Library.

For more information on the eduroam service, including a list of institutions that provide an eduroam service across the globe, visit http://www.eduroam.org/.

It is important to understand the security risks of joining any WiFi network, to ensure that you are joining the genuine eduroam network, ICT recommend that you use eduroam CAT (Configuration Assistant Tool) to make a secure connection to the network.

You can do this on or off campus. If you are using a mobile device, you can do it over a 3G or 4G connection, and if you are using a PC or Mac, you can connect to ‘UoH Guest’ in the first instance, or complete the process while connected to your home network.
