Research Degree scholarships
Four Business School PhD scholarships available for September
2012 entry.
Hull University Business School is offering four
scholarships in the following broad academic areas of the Business
School
- Accounting and Accountability
- Empirical Finance and Banking
- Innovations in Business and Management Education
- Logistics, Project Management, Supply Chains and
Operations Management
- Marketing Innovations and Applications
- Organisational Futures and Studies of Organising
- Economics
- Regional and International Business
- Systems Thinking, Cybernetics, Problem Structuring and
Information Systems
- Corporate Social Responsibility
Applications are sought from suitably-qualified people wishing
to pursue research leading to PhD status under the supervision of
leading researchers.
Closing date 2 March 2012. Studentships will
start in September 2012.
Applicants will be expected to hold a minimum of a UK upper
second class Honours degree, or equivalent, in an appropriate
discipline.
The scholarship contributes to tuition fees the equivalent of
the Home/EU tuition fee cost regardless of nationality, and a
maintenance allowance of £13,590 per year for the normal duration
of the award, to a maximum of three years, depending on
satisfactory progress.
PhD students at the University of Hull follow modules for
research and transferable skills development and gain a Masters
level Certificate, or Diploma, in Research Training, in addition to
their research degree.
