The predominant mode of examination on this programme is by coursework and continuous assessment. Students on this programme have the opportunity to examine from a practical and theoretical perspective the nature and process of translation as well as focusing on language teaching methodologies and second language acquisition. International students have the opportunity to develop advanced English language skills and study techniques at postgraduate level in the one-semester postgraduate English for Academic Purposes module. The latter can be taken as an additional module.
