email upgrade? The old email server has now been switched off,
so if you use an email client, mobile, or tablet to access your
account you will need to update your settings to re-connect. Visit

ICTD is pleased to announce that we have extended the opening hours of our Service Desk in Applied Science. You can now drop in for support on a wide range of ICT issues every weekday between 8:30 and 17:30 (16:30 on Fridays).
There is typically an increase in the number of phishing messages at this time of year. Please ensure you can recognise a phishing message so it can be confidently deleted.
Essential maintenance is planned for Wednesday 18th December from 18:00 to 22:00.
The ICT department would like to apologise to staff and students for the network disruption between 08:55 and 10:10 this morning. The disruption was caused by a fault with a core network switch which we believe has now been resolved.
As part of the ongoing University Core Infrastructure Refresh Programme we need to make some changes to the Hull-based staff email system to ensure a more reliable and robust service.
