Enterprise Centre
The Enterprise Centre is designed to encourage, support
and nurture businesses during start-up and their early stages
of development.

Established as a new build in 2007, the centre has since had
almost 100 new businesses based at the centre.
- The centre provides an ideal range of facilities to support the
development of new business ideas. It comprises
of individual start-up offices, and desk rental, reception,
meeting/training and video conference rooms; the
building is Wi-Fi enabled and has broadband connections for both
tenants and visitors.
- The centre provides an ideal environment for fledgling
businesses, with a relaxed yet professional environment, enabling
new ideas and creativity to flourish.
- The centre encourages tenant peer to peer learning, and some
tenants collaborate to deliver larger contracts, joining up their
expertise, and often purchase and exchange services with other
tenants to support their own business growth - a real
business community!
Being based at the heart of the University’s of Hull campus,
access to research and support with innovation and technology
development is close to hand. The students, graduates and
academic staff of the University provide an additional source of
expertise and skills.
The Enterprise Centre is also home to the University’s Knowledge Exchange team, a central
point for connecting the University with businesses.
The team has expertise in a full range of business and enterprise
areas including: Intellectual Property, Knowledge Transfer
Partnerships, Continued Professional Development and public
funding.
