Enterprise Centre

Student and Graduate Enterprise

The University of Hull offers a range of enterprise and entrepreneurship activities, both as part of your studies and as extra-curricular activities.   These will support you to gain business skills and know-how for future employability, and help you to develop and grow business ideas you have now or may have in the future.

Student employability schemes, societies, internships, enterprise events, and opportunities to have a business mentor all exist to give you invaluable skills and experience needed for your next steps after University.     Support is available no matter what your discipline or year of study, whether you’re an undergraduate, post graduate or working towards a PhD.

For students interested in being your own boss, like most people you’ve probably got a lot of questions to ask and unsure where to start.    If you have even the smallest of ideas or a number of ideas then you could already be on the road to working for yourself, starting your own business, freelancing or setting up a social enterprise that supports a good cause.

Your first step is to simply make an appointment with our Careers Service by visiting them in Student Union House or by emailing careers@hull.ac.uk.

The University of Hull works with many businesses, organisations and communities who help start-ups, young businesses and entrepreneurs – tapping into a wealth of expertise to help you achieve your potential.

Today’s a good day to start!
