International Partnerships
The University has a range of international relationships with
partner institutions, undertaking a wide array of tasks.
The University also engages in joint research projects and post
graduate delivery.
The Global U8 consortium's purpose is to meet a growing demand
for: cross-cultural education through student exchange and the
adoption of a common curricula; a response to new challenges posed
by the need for Global Logistics, Business Administration, Marine
Affairs, and Advanced Technologies (e.g., information technologies,
bio-technology, nano-technology) as well as interdisciplinary
activities by conducting joint-research and expanding outreach
programs; and the need to strengthen global cooperation among
university administrations.

The University of Hull was a founding member of the Utrecht
Network in 1982. Through the network the University has high
profile partners in each member state of the European Union.
The Network allows the University to place our students with an
overseas partner for a year abroad. In addition to European
placements the Network has supported student mobility for Business
School students to Australia and Faculty of Arts and Social Science
students to the USA.
The University hosted the Annual Utrecht Network Conference in
2006 at our Scarborough Campus.
