Access Office

The Access Office was established in August 2011 following the introduction of Access Agreement (AA) arrangements from 2012 and the ending of the national Aimhigher programme to encourage widening participation. The Access Office has terms of reference to:

a) support the PVC Engagement in the development of a strategic approach to Access/WP

b) commission (and co-ordinate) activities to meet the requirements of the University of Hull Access Agreements and Widening Participation Strategic Assessments

c) manage, maintain and administer a number of activities including the provision of expert HE Student Finance information, advice and guidance and analysis of widening participation student intakes and progression through study

The Access Office team works closely with the Student Recruitment and Widening Participation staff based on the Scarborough campus and the Student Recruitment Service on the Hull campus.
