Welcome to the University of Hull

As a new member of staff we hope that you find the information contained in these web pages useful during your first few weeks or months with us. The pages have been designed to help you settle into your new job by telling you about the University, its aims, values and background, and the services it provides. 

We strongly encourage you to attend our Central Induction Day, which is offered three times a year in January, April and September. By attending the event you will meet a variety of other new colleagues, find out about the University's mission and plans for the future, meet key personnel, and be given plenty of opportunity to ask questions. In addition to attending the Central Induction Day you should receive more specific training within your area and will be assigned an advisor to guide you and offer advice during these first few important months.
