Postgraduate Study in Applied Ethics

Supervision leading to research degrees can be offered in many areas of applied ethics.

 

  • PhD
    This is a research degree by thesis on an approved topic, normally taken by three years' study.  It can be taken part-time or by a combination of full-time and part-time study.
  • MPhil
    This is a research degree by thesis on an approved topic, normally taken by two years' study.  It can be taken part-time or by a combination of full-time and part-time study.

Members of the Institute would particularly welcome applications from prospective postgraduate research students on topics in the areas of biomedical ethics and law; political ethics; and criminal justice ethics.
