Jessica Sinyard, who graduated with first class honours in Film Studies from the University last year, has been offered a place on the MA Screenwriting course at the National Film and Television School.

The National Film and Television School was called “the best film school in the world” by the Observer newspaper and their graduates have won BAFTAS, Oscars, Emmys and many other prestigious awards. Film producer Barney Reisz commented that the school is “very prestigious” and that the entry and interview process is highly competitive. Some of the most notable alumni include BAFTA winner Roger Deakins (No Country For Old Men, Skyfall, The Shawshank Redemption), Oscar winner Nick Park (Wallace and Gromit), Ashley Pharaoh (Life on Mars) and David Yates (Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows).
