The Film History module seeks to familiarize students with
the general practices and concepts of "film history". It is a core
module which provides the analytical and theoretical foundation for
the study of the discipline. It familiarizes students with the use
of history as an analysis tool for the study of cinema, and
introduces students to key films and key lines of historical
development within cinema.
