Our research is concentrated in two core areas: Philosophy of Mind and Body and Applied Philosophy.

TEACHING

Our teaching was rated excellent in the most recent teaching review and we have been consistently ranked as one of the top two departments for teaching philosophy in the National Student Survey.

JOURNAL OF APPLIED PHILOSOPHY

We are home to the Editorship of the Journal of Applied Philosophy, a journal of international importance for work published in this area.
