Open Days

Through the year, both the University and the subject areas within Humanities hold a number of Open Days, so that prospective students can come and see the campus for themselves.

At our general Open Days, you can attend a variety of talks on subjects you're interested in, and take tours of the campus, halls of residence, learning facilities, student union - and even the city of Hull itself, so that you have a clear idea of what's on offer.

If you have already decided which subject you want to study, and put down Hull as one of your UCAs choices, you'll also be invited to an Applicant Day - a tailor-made Open Day - where you can engage even further with the teaching staff on your subject of choice, meet our current students and quiz them about their experiences, and find out more about the degree programmes so that you can make a fully informed decision.
