Ken is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court and a part-time lecturer at the University of Hull.  Ken was born and raised in Hull and is a graduate of the University with an Honours Degree in Law.  He also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Nottingham Trent University.

He has been in legal practice in the Hull area for more than 30 years and has experience in most areas of law including criminal, family, probate, civil, personal injury and employment.  He has a wide experience in advocacy and has represented clients in courts and tribunals throughout England.  In recent years he has concentrated on employment law and has had articles published in several leading legal journals.

Ken has also been involved in setting up and running law clinics for a number of years on some of the larger estates surrounding Hull.  He has been the honorary legal adviser to various local charities and regeneration programmes. Ken is also a former rugby league professional.
