City Solicitors' Education Trust (CSET)

The Law School was recently awarded a grant of over £4,000 to create high-quality elearning materials for our first year students. Previously, the School won a grant of £25,000 from in order to improve its library provision.CSET logo

We are very grateful for the Trust's present and past assistance, which continues to benefit our students, and we welcome its continued recognition of the high quality of legal education provided by Hull Law School.

The overall objective of the Trust is to help to maintain the number of good quality law graduates, and to maintain or raise the quality of those entering the solicitor's profession by supporting education in the main areas of law needed.

The School would also like to thank Dr Peter Thompson and Sir Q.W. Lee for their support which has made it possible to appoint a Lecturer in Maritime Law and which has added to the funding of an Information Officer.
