Entry Requirements

Candidates should normally have or be about to obtain a degree in a relevant discipline (including, but not restricted to, criminology, law, social sciences, social work) of first or upper second class standard or its equivalent (a lower classification combined with appropriate practical/professional experience may also be accepatable).

In some cases it may be necessary for international students to hold a relevant Masters degree. Further details can be obtained from British Council offices in the relevant country.

Advice for international students

For the purpose of admission, an overseas applicant is someone whose permanent home is outside the European Union, unless you normally live in the EU but are living outside it because of your parents' occupation. Those residing in the EU for educational purposes only are not deemed to be 'ordinarily resident' when fee categories are assessed.

When requested by the University you must send to the Admissions Office a statement from the appropriate Government office, or from the person or body who will be responsible for your maintenance, certifying that you will receive adequate financial support for the duration of your study (see Course Fees). You must ensure that your funds will cover any increases in costs during your period of study at Hull.
