  • Performances by a wide range of student-led ensembles. Wednesday 10 December 2014, Lindsey Suite, Staff House, 7.30pm.
  • An ensemble dedicated to exploring the energy of sounds, and the webs of ideas that form around them. Friday 5 December 2014, Lindsey Suite, Staff House, 1.15pm.
  • By Dr Ian Sapiro (University of Leeds). Tuesday 2 December 2014, Larkin Building L201, 4.15pm. Free admission, all welcome.
  • As part of the Hull Jazz Festival, the School of Drama, Music and Screen are hosting the Jonathan Gee Trio, and students from the University’s Jazz Æsthetic, directed by Dr Peter Elsdon, will perform alongside saxophonist Soweto Kinch.
  • Dr Mark Slater, of the School of Drama, Music and Screen, appears, as part of the Nightports music production project, on the latest compilation of internationally renowned broadcaster and DJ Gilles Peterson.
