Police Leadership, Then and Now

One day conference to promote the records of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) [U DPO] recently acquired by the Hull History Centre

Centre for Criminology collaborative event with Hull History Centre

This event brings together specialists in the history of leading bodies in the police service in the United Kingdom with those in contemporary policing issues. Open to all, this free conference will consider the development and impact of senior police management, and the challenges faced.  Speakers include: Emeritus Professor Clive Emsley, Dr Sarah Charman, Professor David Wall as well as a roundtable discussion reflecting on contemporary issues and historical reflections with regard to police leadership. Contributors to the roundtable are Prof Colin Webster, Dr Chris Williams, Claire Davis, Dr Mark Littler.
