"Last year five of our students went on to study nursing. This year eight students have applied and one has applied to the ODP programme." Cottingham High School The Centre for Clinical Skills offers students the chance to learn practice skills for health and social care in a fully-equipped, simulated but realistic working environment. Learning practice skills is an important part of our pre-registration and post-registration courses. The centre also provides bespoke training for companies and health and social care workers. The centre, which is on the university's Hull campus, plays a wider role in the community by inviting groups of school and college students from across Yorkshire and the Humber to learn about health and social care careers and experience practice skills for themselves. The centre also hosts conferences, public lectures and events. Training rooms are available for hire with hospitality.
