Logistics research
Multidisciplinary and applied research is undertaken
in our established Centre for Logistics
Research. Drawing on the resources of the institute, the
centre generates research in areas of
logistics including communications technologies;
simulation and modelling; lean and agile; food and retail; and
sustainability.
Based near the Hull and Humber ports conurbation, the centre has
a focus on port-centric logistics and contributing to regional
economic development.
The centre also has as international expertise in
developing the next generation of supply chains, supply chain risk and logistics in emerging
economies.
