  • Following the warning published in the eBulletin on 15 April, we are now seeing a number of messages containing malware, possibly ransomware. The scam messages have used subjects relating to legal proceedings and invoices.
  • From Monday 25 April, QuickTime for Windows will be automatically uninstalled from University managed PCs. This is the recommended action now that Apple are no longer updating the product, including fixing security vulnerabilities.
  • Access to the SharePoint service was restored at 14:00. The service currently remains stable. ICT wishes to apologise for the inconvenience caused during this outage.

How to add your out of office message

Here are some instructions to help you add an out of office message to your University email account.

Auto-logoff

Please be aware that all student open access PCs will automatically logoff after 30 minutes of inactivity. Any unsaved work will be lost.
