Mobile technology software success

The Faculty of Education and the department of Computer Science will be developing and piloting software applications (know as apps) for the Apple iPhone and iPad.

The faculties have been successful in securing two Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associates to help with this work. The project will be developed and piloted with the support of the educational institution Academy 360, in Sunderland.

The team also hope to create an innovative immersive world environment to support the training and dissemination of the software to teachers and students across the region.
