Welcome to our new lifelong learning opportunities for 2011/2012

Whatever your reason for taking a course you will find something to interest and excite you: from modern languages to geology; from art history to IT; from psychology to philosophy and everything in between. You can study either on University campus or at a location near to where you live.

Our Courses

  • Are usually 10 credit courses taken over 10 weeks
  • Are open to everyone and require no previous qualifications
  • Are held in small friendly groups with supportive tutors
  • Enable you to build your CV and learn new skills
  • Help you to develop a new interest
  • Provide a springboard for your future success
  • Can enable you to achieve a University Foundation Award

University Foundation Award

The UFA is an award that can be built up from our short courses. It is a 60 credit qualification at level 4 and can provide you with your first taste of Higher Education. It can come from a series of linked modules on a specific theme (a 'study route') or a free choice of modules from anywhere in the programme.

Designing courses for you

Whatever your type of organisation or group, be it formal or informal, corporate or voluntary, our highly qualified staff can work with you to design and deliver courses to suit your exact requirements.

Contact Sheila Longbone on 01482 465666 to discuss your options.
