Longhill Primary School students, Abbie Dymock, Cortney Skinner
and Britney Windle took part in the Faculty Week celebrations of
2010 with support from media consultant Mike Russell and Deputy
Head Mark Batty. The girls filmed one of the interactive workshop
sessions.
The session was for colleagues working in early year’s settings
and looked at how to develop and stimulate children’s listening,
reading and writing skills by creating story sacks.
Take a look at the short film that the
Longhill pupils produced including an interview with the Dean of
the Faculty of Education and the Vice-Chancellor of the
University.
