Who we are and where we are
The University of Hull has two Immigration Advisers currently
based at the Student Wellbeing Learning and Welfare Support. Mr
Ting Chen and Mrs Olga Ivanova will be happy to provide you with
immigration advice, information and guidance on a range of
study-related immigration queries.

We provide free confidential
information, guidance, advice and support on study related
We mainly deal with the following enquiries:
- Tier 4 General visa applications (requirements, application
forms inside and outside of the UK);
- Problems with Tier 4 visas (lack of evidence, refusals,
- Changing courses and/or universities;
- Other study-related immigration queries (break from studies,
withdrawing from your programme and its impact on your visa,
completing your programme earlier or later than initially expected,
- Short-Term Study Visa;
- Working during/after studies;
- Family visiting or dependants joining you in the UK.
Student Wellbeing, Learning and Welfare Support welcomes your
feedback (both positive and negative) to ensure that we are meeting

If you would like to cancel or re-arrange your appointment, it
is very important that you contact AskHU team as soon as possible.
This will allow us to offer your cancelled appointment to another
