The aim of cancer research in Hull is to improve both therapeutic options and quality of life for sufferers from solid tumours and leukaemia by:
Daisy Research Laboratories, Castle Hill Hospital (cancer genetics, proteomics, immunohistochemistry, protein expression , DNA sequencing)
Medical Research Laboratory (immunology, flow cytometery)
Biomedical Research Laboratory
Oncology Clinical Trials office
Oncology Health Centres
Academic Surgical Unit
A monthly Cancer Biology Proteomics Group Seminar Series takes place at the Daisy Research Laboratories, Castle Hill Hospital. Work from the Group has been presented at international and national conferences.
