Welcome to the University of Hull clinical trials web page. The Postgraduate Medical Institute of the University of Hull boasts extensive clinical trial expertise in a wide range of medical specialities. The types of studies undertaken range from experimental clinical pharmacology through all stages of drug development, proof of concept, to lead investigator status in large scale definitive clinical trials.
As the cost of clinical trials escalate we are increasingly aware of the need to maximise the yield and minimise the chance of error in studies. We, therefore, particularly specialise in providing advice and guidance at the planning stage of trial design. We frequently call on the expertise of our sister institution, The University of York, with their world renowned Health Economic Analysis.
