Supply Chain Management

Marketing and Supply Chain Management

About the course

Gain a competitive edge in the jobs market with a rigorous programme of study and real-life experience from the University of Hull’s internationally accredited Business School. You’ll master the ever-expanding world of advertising channels on a joint degree that provides you with a strong foundation of core marketing skills, from the art of persuasion to international communication applications. You’ll also get a head start in developing the key skills needed to manage the web of national and international connections which make up today’s complex supply chains.

Combine this with the opportunity to boost your employability through an additional year of professional experience, often with a top global business, or by studying at one of our partner institutions in Europe, Asia, North America or Australia. If you do not have the qualifications and experience to enter the BA Honours course directly, a foundation year in Business and Management will give you the academic abilities to progress to the first year of your degree. The University of Hull’s distinctive, integrated approach has earned international accreditation from AACSB – held by less than 5% of the world’s 13,000 business programmes.

Foundation Year

You will cover a total of six modules over the Foundation Year covering the core competencies for degree level study, and will also have a choice of subjects including business, law and politics; arts, media and social sciences; global development; society, culture and ethics; and key skills in academic English.

On successful completion of the Foundation Year, you will be able to progress to a range of business degree courses offered at the Business School, as well as selected courses from other departments in the University including law, social sciences, education and English.

You will spend year a studying at one of our partner institutions in Europe, Asia, North America or Australia. This is an outstanding opportunity to broaden your horizons within a different culture and environment, learn new skills and develop valuable international contacts while continuing your studies.

Professional Experience

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience while you earn. Spend a year working in industry, gaining invaluable experience, creating potential contacts and developing your employability.
