The University has launched an exciting new feature on its mobile
app, iHull. Students and staff can now get easy access to
personalised information about their library accounts including
lists of borrowed items (with due dates), details about bookings
and reservations, and any outstanding fines.
There are also quick links to the catalogue search facility and
information about library services, including opening times.
To date, nearly 5,500 people have registered for the app, which
is available for iPhone/iPad, Android™ devices and as mobile web
pages. In addition to the library services, the app gives students,
staff and visitors access to a range of information about studying
at the University including campus maps, a PC finder, details of
upcoming Open Days, and a pocket guide featuring information about
campus facilities, regional attractions and local transport.
