Facilities and resources
The University is continuing to invest in facilities across both
its Hull and Scarborough campuses. Recent innovations include the
opening of a new biomedical research facility, the Allam Building,
and a £27.4m project to dramatically improve and modernise the main
Brynmor Jones library.
Our Research Funding Office offers a range of advice and support
services to researchers. The team can help source funding
opportunities, provide advice on completing research proposals and
grant applications, and connect you with research heads in all

The Graduate School is a multi-functional centre that serves the
administrate needs of students and postgraduate researchers. The
school also provides students with excellent research and study
facilities, including open access computers, quiet study/work areas
and a seminar room.
We offer a wide range of programmes and training modules to help
research staff develop the skills, knowledge and expertise needed
to succeed in the modern work environment. And our research
students follow a tailored development programme via the
Postgraduate Training Scheme, which equips them with career-ready

in Research badge for its commitment to supporting and developing
