Scarborough School of Education is a department of the Faculty
of Education at the University of Hull. Based at Scarborough
Campus, we have been training primary school teachers for over
50 years and enjoy a national reputation. We are highly rated by
Ofsted in the last three teacher training inspections (2004,
2007 and 2011). Our range of courses is diversifying and now

Ex-student voted Teacher of the Year 2008!
Paul Johnson of Hinderwell Primary School in Scarborough has
been voted Scarborough Evening News Teacher of the Year for 2008.
Paul received his teacher training at Scarborough School of
Education, and is now an Advanced Skills Teacher supporting staff
