Web Systems Management

The heart of most modern internet applications is the web
server. This module introduces you to the principles of setting
up and running web applications.
You will learn the principles of open networking systems, and
common networking protocols before being introduced to the
Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), which is the backbone of web
services, and running a web server using the industry
leading Apache platform.
By the end of this module you will be able to build and
configure a webserver able to run dynamic web applications, as well
as being able to diagnose and fix common problems in a server
environment.
