
Scarborough School of Education is a department of the Institute
for Learning, a Faculty of the University of Hull. Based at
Scarborough Campus the Scarborough School of
Education we have been training primary sc hool teachers for over
50 years and enjoy a national reputation. In the last two teacher
training inspections (2004 and 2007) we received Grade 1 Ofsted
ratings in Management and Quality Assurance.
Our range of courses is diversifying and now includes:

Ex-student voted Teacher of the Year 2008!
Paul Johnson of Hinderwell Primary School in Scarborough has
been voted Scarborough Evening News Teacher of the Year for 2008.
Paul received his teacher training at Scarborough School of
Education, and is now an Advanced Skills Teacher supporting staff
