The Centre For Medical Engineering and Technology - CMET

CMET at the University of Hull brings together a broad range of activities concerned with the modelling and simulation of medical and biological systems and the development and application of technology in medicine.The key activities in the Department of Engineering include:

• the Medical and Biological Engineering research group (MBE)
• the Speech Restoration and Rehabilitation group
• the Engineering Telehealth group
• the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Research Group (MSBG)

working with colleagues in:

• the Department of Sport, Health and Exercise Science: Musculoskeletal Health across the Lifespan
• the Department of Computer Science: the Simulation and Visualization group (SimVis)
• the Postgraduate Medical Institute: Cardiology  and  Respiratory Medicine
• the Centre for Telehealth

and:

• the Hull-York Medical School: Centre for Anatomical and Human Sciences
