We place a high priority on the
employability of our graduates. We work closely with industry to
ensure our degrees are up-to-date and relevant. We have strong

Electronic Arts. Our commercial software development unit, Software
Engineering Experience Development (SEED), provides the opportunity
for guaranteed industry experience, as part of our degrees as well
as a commercial context for many projects.
When you study with us, you need
not worry about the quality of your degree. Our BSc programmes have
been accredited by and awarded full exemption from The Chartered
Institute for IT (BCS) professional examination and provide partial
CEng accreditation.
We’re proud of our high quality
teaching. Our students think alike, as in the 2010 National Student

of their course.
Graduation is just the beginning.
Many of our graduates have pursued successful careers with
companies such as Rockstar Games, Codemasters, Axida and
Ebuyer.com.
We’re also active in research and
enterprise. The work of our dynamic research community is based
around Dependable, Reliable and Intelligent Systems (DRIS) and
Simulation and Visualization (SimVis). Our research is carried out
in our state-of-the-art research centre, The Hull Immersive
Visualization Environment (HIVE), a multi-million pound
visualization centre.
