Royal accolade for enterprising graduate University of Hull graduate Guy Wallace was recently honoured in the Duke of York Young Entrepreneurs Awards 2015. Ref 2014: Computer Science joint 5th for impact nationally The Faculty of Science and Engineering have received outstanding results in REF 2014, underpinning much of the University's performance across the board. The research into medical systems is concerned with the development of novel solutions for the planning and delivery of treatment as well as the training of the clinicians. This applied research is underpinned by core computer science research in the areas of virtual environments and image processing. Immersive VERT is currently used by 10 universities and the Department of Health recently funded a rollout to over 40 sites in England.
