Careers and Internships Digital Networking Event A successful careers networking event was held on Wednesday 24 February. 8th Postgraduate Research Poster Conference Postgraduate students showcased their research projects on 10 February 2016, producing posters and giving brief presentations. The audience voted for the best five winning projects. The research into medical systems is concerned with the development of novel solutions for the planning and delivery of treatment as well as the training of the clinicians. This applied research is underpinned by core computer science research in the areas of virtual environments and image processing. Immersive VERT is currently used by 10 universities and the Department of Health recently funded a rollout to over 40 sites in England.
