  • The Department of Geography's commitment to their students has been highlighted in the recent results of the 2011 National Student Survey. Overall, Geographical Studies scored an impressive 97% approval, placing us within the top 10 departments.
  • “A meeting to celebrate 125 years of the Hull Geological Society”. A meeting of amateur, professional and academic geologists to celebrate 125 years of the Hull Geological Society. Friday 5th to Sunday 7th October 2012.
  • The Geography Department is co-hosting the 18th Annual International Sustainable Development Conference on 24-26 June 2012.
  • 2012 Applicant Open Day dates: 11th February, 22nd February, 25th February, 10th March and 21st April.
  • These take place in the Committee Room in the Cohen Building on a Thursday at 1.15pm. Seminars take place on 13th October, 27th October, 24th November, 8th December, 9th February, 23rd February, 8th March.
