Fieldwork
NEWS: For all applicants for undergraduate courses
starting in September 2012. All core fieldwork, including
overseas trips in the second year, will be provided for free.
Fieldwork is a highlight of our courses. If you study at Hull
you’ll have the chance to travel abroad and experience different
environments and cultures.
One of our recent graduates described our fieldwork as an
"amazing opportunity to visit new countries and become a true
geographer in the field".
Although our destinations sometimes change, in recent
years we’ve visited:
During fieldwork you’ll also learn observation, research and
project management skills, which will make you more employable.
Second-year students can choose between a residential trip
overseas or day visits to sites around Hull. Many of our other
modules also include field trips to the region.
