MSc in Financial Mathematics

In recent years, following the global financial crisis, there has been an increased focus on financial risk assessment and informed decision making. This has highlighted the need for financial specialists who not only understand finance, but can also independently model the behaviour of complex financial instruments within risk management, compliance and regulatory restrictions.

Experts within Hull University Business School (HUBS) and School of Mathematics & Physical Sciences in the Faculty of Science and Engineering have collaborated in developing and delivering this programme. It is appropriate for you if you wish to enter or enhance a career in this exciting area of finance.

The programme is studied full-time over one year starting in September. It comprises two semesters of taught modules followed by an individual dissertation project.

This MSc is led by Hull University Business School.
