Psychology at Hull ranked 7th for student satisfaction

The Department of Psychology at Hull has been ranked equal 7th for student satisfaction amongst mainstream English Higher Education Institutions in the 2011 National Student Survey (NSS).  The NSS is a survey completed by students as they conclude their studies and provides valuable information for prospective students as to the quality of courses.

Students complimented the department’s high standard of teaching with 95% agreeing that the staff are good at explaining things, and 88% stated that the staff have made the subject interesting.  Overall, 93% of students said that they are satisfied with their course.

Head of Department, Professor Paul Wilson said “I am delighted that our graduating students have given us this vote of confidence. Such a high degree of satisfaction reflects the professionalism and dedication of all my colleagues in working with students to ensure the very best quality learning experience”.
