Psychology at Hull ranked 7th for student
satisfaction
The Department of Psychology at Hull has been
ranked equal 7th for student satisfaction amongst
mainstream English Higher Education Institutions in the 2011
National Student Survey (NSS). The NSS is a survey completed
by students as they conclude their studies and provides valuable
information for prospective students as to the quality of
courses.
Students complimented the department’s high
standard of teaching with 95% agreeing that the staff are good at
explaining things, and 88% stated that the staff have made the
subject interesting. Overall, 93% of students said that they
are satisfied with their course.
Head of Department, Professor Paul Wilson said
“I am delighted that our graduating students have given us this
vote of confidence. Such a high degree of satisfaction reflects the
professionalism and dedication of all my colleagues in working with
students to ensure the very best quality learning experience”.
