Open Days and Applicant Days

The Venn Building on the University of Hull campus

There are a number of opportunities throughout the year where you can get a first-hand impression of what it is like to study Psychology at the University of Hull.

Open Days

If you are considering applying to study with us, an Open Day is a great way to help you make your decision about the University of Hull.

You'll get to explore the campus, take a guided bus tour of the city, look around the school and meet some of the staff who will be teaching you, and chat to current students. You can also have your questions answered about subjects such as admissions, fees and funding, and accommodation.

Applicant Days

If you have received an offer to study at the University of Hull, you will be invited to an Applicant Day.

Applicant Days are a great way to find out more about your subject as the programme for the day is tailored around your course.

You will have the opportunity to visit the school, have a chance to participate in Psychology-related activities, and meet members of staff. You will also have the opportunity to meet fellow applicants and current students and tour the campus with them.

Current students and lecturers are on hand to tell you everything you need to know and answer any questions you may have about studying at the University of Hull.

If you have not received an invitation to an Applicant Day, please email for more information.

Applicant Visits

Visit Days are for those applicants who could not make it to one of our Applicant Days. On these days you will have the opportunity to attend a campus tour and speak to a member of staff from the Psychology subject group.

If you have applied to study with us, but have not been able to attend one of our Applicant Days, you will automatically receive an invitation to a Visit Day. However, to gain the greatest insight into studying Psychology at the University of Hull, we recommend that you attend one of the Applicant Days.
