One of the most commonly asked questions is
"What is psychology?" Psychology is a broad and diverse field. A
number of different subfields and specialisms have emerged.
Psychology is both an applied and academic
field that studies the human mind and behaviour. Research in
psychology seeks to understand and explain aspects of thought,
emotion, and behaviour. Applications of psychology include mental
health treatments, sports psychology and performance enhancement,
self-help and many other areas related to health and daily
life.
