Ciência sem Fronteiras (CSF) UK

The University of Hull is delighted to welcome students from Brazil as part of the Ciência sem Fronteiras (CSF) UK programme (previously known as 'Science Without Borders').

Science Without Borders

Sponsored by CAPES and CNPq, Ciência sem Fronteiras (CSF) UK enables Brazilian students to receive scholarships for a one-year undergraduate study abroad programme, full research PhD, sandwich PhD or exchange at postdoctoral research level in UK universities.

Why the University of Hull?

Established in 1927, Hull is the 14th-oldest university in the country. Since then, we have continually developed a distinguished tradition of providing a first-class education and rewarding life experiences to students from all over the world.

With around 3,000 students from outside the UK, we are a truly international university. You'll be met with a warm welcome and supported throughout your time here - from arriving at your accommodation for the first time, to completing your assessments.

Located in East Yorkshire, Hull has a population of over 250,000 people – and 2017 will see the biggest party we have ever thrown. Hull's year as City of Culture will see a spectacular 365-day programme of art, music and live performance. The University will be hosting a number of events and many volunteering and work experience opportunities will be on offer, putting our students right at the heart of the action.

As well as being close to the beautiful Yorkshire coast and a number of National Parks, direct train services to London, Leeds, Manchester and York mean you will be ideally situated to explore everything Britain has to offer. Daily ferries from the Port of Hull to Rotterdam (Netherlands) and Zeebrugge (Belgium) mean that the city is a gateway to mainland Europe - and adventures further afield.
