Five things you should know when searching for jobs As we don't charge employers to advertise, we handle a vast number and range of opportunities - some local, some UK- wide and some overseas - so check our online Jobs Board first! New vacancies are added every day, so check it regularly. Some jobs can start as many as 12 months after they are advertised, so be prepared to apply to larger employers in the autumn of your final year to start work in the autumn after graduation. Placements are often advertised several months in advance of the start date, so if you are looking for a summer placement, start looking from January onwards. To view our Jobs Database, you will need to have registered with us - it is quick and easy. Make a note of your log-in details as you will need them to access vacancies and our other services in the future. Don't forget - not all opportunities are advertised. Network, consider speculative approaches and ask family and friends to access the hidden job market.
