PDP

What is PDP?
PDP stands for Personal Development Planning, and is a means by
which you review the learning and study skills and employability
skills you have developed, in order to identify any weaker areas,
and to plan how you are going to address these areas, and to record
your acheivement.
PDP at the University of Hull
PDP provides a range of tools to help you in your current
studies and to maximise your employability for your future
career.
Arrangements for PDP may vary slightly between departments, and
some PDP is embedded in academic programmes, but for personal
support, arrange to meet with your supervisor or a suitable
alternative to reflect on your achievements, to discuss your
personal development, and to agree an action plan for the future.
PDP will encourage you to evaluate your own performance in a secure
and 'safe' environment.
