Emergency Contraception
If you have had unprotected sex and are worried you might
become pregnant, the following information may be useful:
The (so-called) “Morning After” contraceptive
pill is effective for up to 72 hours following
intercourse.
It is available free from participating
pharmacies, the one nearest to the Hull
Campus is:
Newland Community Pharmacy

(close to the railway bridge down Newland Ave).

You would be asked some questions, and provided you fit the
criteria, the contraceptive will be prescribed. This will apply in
almost all cases, but where it does not, you would be referred to a
Family Planning
Clinic.
