The Graduate School is here to support staff who have contact with research students. We handle the central administration for PhDs and other research degrees and are able to give advice on regulations and procedures relating to research students.

We also:

• Provide training for new supervisors
• Maintain the online Research Student Handbook and produce the template for departmental handbooks
• Handle ESRC, AHRC and other Research Council studentships
• Service the Research Degrees Committee

The Graduate School is the hub of research degree activity. Please feel free to contact us and make use of us!
